About QuickDueDiligence.com

Free supplier risk checker for SME owners and importers

What This Site Does

QuickDueDiligence.com is a free educational tool that helps small business owners, importers, freelancers, and anyone entering a new business relationship to quickly assess the risk profile of a supplier or counterparty before making a payment.

The tool applies a weighted questionnaire based on the same risk factors that banks and compliance professionals use when performing Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks. It does not replace professional due diligence — it helps you understand what to look for and where to look.

Who This Is For

What This Site Is Not

QuickDueDiligence.com is not a regulated compliance service, a legal advice platform, or a substitute for professional due diligence. The risk scores generated by the tool are indicative and educational only. They do not constitute legal, financial, compliance, or professional advice of any kind.

For high-value transactions, regulated industries, or complex ownership structures, always consult a qualified solicitor, compliance professional, or use a commercial due diligence service.

How the Tool Works

The risk checker uses a weighted scoring model across eight categories: counterparty type, country of operation, industry sector, payment method, ownership transparency, online presence, documentation, and behavioural red flags. Each category is scored based on publicly documented risk factors from FATF guidance, the UK's Joint Money Laundering Steering Group (JMLSG) guidance, and academic research on supplier fraud patterns.

The tool runs entirely in your browser. No data is transmitted to any server, stored in any database, or shared with any third party. You can verify this by inspecting the page source — there are no API calls, no form submissions, and no tracking pixels beyond standard advertising and analytics scripts.

Data and Privacy

We do not collect, store, or process any personal data entered into the risk checker. The tool has no backend, no database, and no server-side processing. All computation happens locally in your browser using JavaScript.

The site uses Google AdSense for advertising and Google Analytics for anonymous traffic measurement. These services operate under their own privacy policies. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Content and Updates

The FATF country risk data in the tool is updated after each FATF plenary meeting (typically February and June each year). The date of the most recent update is shown in the tool. For the most current official lists, always refer to fatf-gafi.org.

The educational articles on this site are reviewed and updated periodically. Publication and update dates are shown on each article.
